Hi There!

Today at talent development we did more green screening (YAY)!! For our greening screening we could use the photos we took at Queens Park last week. Or we could use non copyright images off Google. I did both. Today I made 3 alpha photos. One I was being a Tree Fairy, and my two other ones were with one of my favourite breeds of dogs (Newfoundland). From one of my earlier posts you can see how to do a manipulated image. Later on today we will be  doing art!!

See you later:)

Custom Glitter Text

Hi again,

I have just come back from Queens Park. You may wonder why we were at Queens Park, but the reason is that we went there for photography Talent Development! Katie thought that it would be good because of the autum leaf scene. My Mum came and helped us. We saw lots of cool ideas for static and manipulated images! For my manipulated image I took a photo of the bird statue around the water fountain. Then I green screened myself into it, but I made the background a sunset!! It was really fun today.

See you later!

Hi again,

Today we had talent development. For talent development today we had to create a manipulated image. Katie set up a green screen so we could take a photo of ourself. My first one did not turn out well, so after I decided to start again - I used photo both. I did not use the green screen I just used a plain yellow wall. It still worked out though. To create a manipulated image, follow these steps.

1.  Choose a image off google as your background.
2.  Take a photo of your self. You can use a green screen or a plain coloured wall. Just make sure you are not wearing the same colour of the wall.
3.  Import the photo into I-photo.  Edit it if you need to.
4.  Open the photo of yourself in Keynote, then alpha the background out.
5.  Put your background image onto your screen, then you can move your photo around to make it look like you are right there!
6.  Add everything else you want to use on your picture.
7.  Have fun making it!

If you have followed the steps right then it should turn out like this.

Thanks for reading!!!

Hi again,

Today Enrich went on a field trip to the Museum. At the Museum we were lucky enough to have the chance to see the W.O.W Art ( W.O.W means World Of Wearable.) Some were made of wood, metal, flax,  suitcases and even real budgies!!!! My favourite was the Harakeke which means in Maori is Major Flax. There was some screens that had interviews of the designers and the outfit on a person. Some of the other ones were: Into The Blue, Bird Mother, The Lady Of Wood and The Fire Bird. It was really enjoyable you can see it in the Southland Museum from 6th of April to the 17th of June.

See you Later
